On TV, the “good guys” are no different from the “bad guys”. The good guys use just as much violence than the bad guys. You even see police officers practice illegal tactics to catch the bad guys.
Children that are conditioned by the TV to accept violent behaviors, they will not question war too much. Children and adults too, come to see war as normal and part of life. It does not have to be that way. We all take a part in this. TV violence influence children’s attitude and thoughts about war. The same thing goes for adults too.
TV is not the only thing that influences children towards violence and war, so does comic books, fashion and music. Instead of letting your children watch the TV, play with your kids, get your children in sports and do any outdoor activities. It does not have to cost anything or very little. Here some ideas: picnics in the park, playing badminton and you don't a net, volley ball, hikes in the nature, berry picking, swimming, gardening, create your own music, celebrate your little family every month by doing something together even if it's just an outdoor picnic, playing in the snow and more. By doing so, you and your children will be healthier, happier and you will add peace to the planet.
Parents need to ask high schools who have military recruitments if they provide to student to hear the other side of military such as soldiers, ex-soldiers, friends & family of soldiers and people for peace. You need to question high schools who don’t have this other side to offer students. There is something fishy about high schools who withheld information from students. Are they targeting students to become soldiers? Are these high schools supporting wars? Do these high schools tolerate violence in the schools? Are they victim blaming as an excuse to allow violence or any other crimes?
When we believe in Love, there are no enemies, no wars, only peace and serenity. When the community help and heal each other, there are no enemies. We are all Spirits having a human experience. Why not help each other makes things brighter putting our safety first. Love is the answer to everything.
